Swim School!

Our Swim and Survive program teaches vital life skills and aims to help students progress in technique. Beginning with water familiarity, sensory exploration leading to skill development and technique and always focusing on the importance of water safety!

  • Aqua Playgroup for 3 month - 6 month olds

  • Swim and Survive program for children aged 6months through to Adults

  • School Term based program

  • 30 minute class once per week

  • Lessons available:

  • Mornings: Monday - Saturday 9am-12pm

  • Afternoons: Monday - Friday 4pm-7pm

  • Private Lesson options 

 

Swim School Philosophy 

Bluewater has a strong commitment to providing high quality children's services where the needs of the children and families are met.
We offer children the forum to develop skills through the exploration of educational, play based programs within a safe, caring, friendly and enjoyable environment. 

How does Swim School Work?

Here at Bluewater we believe swimming is a life skill.

We follow the Swim and Survive program, and cater to all ages, from children as young as 3 months of age, rights through to adults and masters.

Our swimming and water safety program is designed to proved steady progress in both swimming and survival skills.

How do I book my child into Bluewater's Swim School?

Step 1 - Contact our friendly Customer Service Team or Swim School Team Leader, via phone, email or attending the centre to discuss available and suitable lesson times. We offer lessons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at different times.

Step 2 - Download and complete an enrolment form(PDF, 810KB).

Step 3 - Complete a payment method to complete your sign-up process!

Swim Lessons - Group

For our swim school program we offer a Direct Debit Membership (ongoing) or a one-time Paid in Full term.

 

Direct Debit Students (membership)

Our Direct Debit families need not lift a finger! Your little swimmers will be automatically rolled over.

Benefits:

  •  Automatic re-enrolment to the next term
  • Guaranteed spot for your child
  • Access to our Aquatic facilities outside of swim lessons
  • Easy fortnightly payments automatically deducted.
  • Discount for families with 3 or more children enrolled in school school lessons.
  • Credit available when you notify us of your child's absence in time (conditions apply)

Price per lesson  $17.50 $14.00 

 

We accept the following concessions for Direct Debits:

  • Health Care Card
  • Pension Card
  • Seniors Card
  • Student Cards
  • Carer and Companion Cards
  • Department of Veteran's Affairs Pension

 

 

Paid In Full Students 

Our lessons are available per term and based on availability.
Paid in full students must re-enrol into their spots for each Term. To do this please see our Customer Service Team.

Please note that Bluewater will not accept any enrolment without payment of the full term.
Students are only entitled to access our facilities during swim classes.

 

Swim Lessons - Private

Private Lessons

Bluewater Swim School offers Private Lessons for all ages. Private Lessons are flexible, dates and times for lessons, are organised between yourself and our Swim School Team Leader, Jayne Peacock, to best suit the needs of the individual and the availability of our staff and facilities. The number of Private Lessons you wish to complete are up to you!

School Swimming

Bluewater works with local schools to provide School Swimming Programs to students to meet Victorian Education standards. 

If your School is looking for Swimming Lesson, please contact our Swim School Team Leader, Kirilee Wilson to organise a program to suit your school.
