Bluewater Leisure Centre is currently operating in accordance with State Government Covid-19 restrictions.

The operations at Bluewater Leisure have been significant impacted by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. We appreciate and thank our users for their ongoing support and understanding while we continue to adapt to the necessary changes under the State Government Covid-19 restrictions. 

Colac Otway Shire is a great community, and we are proud to be able to continue to provide access to the Bluewater facility during these uncertain times.

MEMBERSHIPS

Memberships & mulitpasses remain suspended at this time due to the significant changes to operations and reduced patron capacity at the centre.

Members and multipass holders are eligible for concession casual entry rates and we thank you for you patience and understanding whilst we adapt to current restrictions.

SESSION TIMES

With current restrictions reducing the amount of patrons able to use the facility, session times will be in place for our gym and pool area to ensure that Bluewater complies with State Government directions and does not exceed patron limits.

Each allocated session will be for a maximum of 1 hour 15 minutes in an effort to provide many people in the community with the opportunity to use the pool and gym. Bookings are essential, strictly no walks-ins. Session times for the pool and gym are as follows:

Sessions will be conducted between the hours of 10.00am - 4.00pm on Public Holidays. Please contact the centre or view the online bookings for available session times.

As spectators are counted in the venue capacity limits, standard entry charges will apply to all spectators.

BOOKINGS

With current restrictions reducing the amount of patrons able to use the facility, bookings are essential, strictly no walks-ins to ensure that Bluewater complies with State Government directions and does not exceed patron limits.

Patrons can make bookings via the following means:

  • Phone: 5232 9551 during centre opening hours

 All patrons must pay for their session and check in at Customer Service upon arrival at the centre.

To ensure as many members of the community have access to pool and gym sessions, a 24 hour cancellation applies for all bookings. If you do not notify the centre 24 hours prior that you are unable to attend a session, you forfeit your payment and will not be eligible for a refund. 

Bookings open a week in advance of a scheduled session and close 15 minutes before the commencement of the session.

Please note that if you do not have a booking, you will not be able to use the facility.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

In accordance with State Government directions, all patrons are required to abide by the following Conditions of Entry.

ID Checks

Under the current COVID-19 restrictions, only Regional Victorian patrons are permitted to use Council’s facilities and services, including Bluewater.

As members we acknowledge that we have your address on record, however staff may still request you to provide an ID upon arrival.

QR Code Check In

Each patron MUST check into the centre upon arrival using the QR code. An iPad is available at reception if you are unable to use a smart device to scan the QR code.

Masks

Until further notice, masks MUST be worn when inside Bluewater unless undertaking exercise or using a pool.

Patrons who breech the Conditions of Entry will be asked to leave the premises and risk their membership being cancelled.
