RE-ENROLMENTS FOR TERM 4 ARE NOW OPEN
We are excited to announce that re-enrolments for Bluewater’s Term 4 Swim School program are now open for current students.
Term 4 lessons will commence Monday 4 October 2021, subject to Covid-19 restrictions at the time.
Paid in Full Students
If you wish to enrol your child/children into lessons for Term 4, please contact the centre via phone or email to confirm lesson availability.
Payments for the Term must be made before the commencement of the first lesson. Any credits from previous closures due to Covid-19 restrictions will be automatically applied to your profiles.
Direct Debit Students
Students with Direct Debit memberships will continue in their current enrolled class, if you’re happy with the current day and time of your child’s lesson, you don’t need to do a thing! If you wish to change the date and time of your child’s lesson, please contact the centre during opening hours.
If you do not wish to continue Swimming Lessons for Term 4, please contact the centre to cancel your membership.
Direct Debit charges are set to recommence on 23 September 2021. Any credits from previous closures due to Covid-19 restrictions will be automatically applied to your profiles.

Fees and Charges
A reminder that adjustments to the Bluewater Leisure Centre fees and charges came into effect on 1 August 2021 following the adoption of the 2021/2022 Colac Otway Shire Fees and Charges at the Council Meeting 24 June 2021.

ABOUT OUR SWIM SCHOOL
At Bluewater we cater for all abilities and ages starting from 6 months of age, and ranging up to classes for adults, providing both strong water safety and stroke technique.
Quick Information on our Swim School Program:
- Swimming Lessons are 30 minutes long, and each group has 1 lesson a week.
- Children are paced in a level based on their age and ability. Our Customer Service team will assist you in placing your child in their correct level.
- Lesson Days and Times vary depending on level and availability
- We run lessons Monday - Saturday mornings, 9.00am - 12.00pm and Monday - Friday afternoons, 4.00pm - 6.00pm.
- Private, one-on-one lessons are available, enquire at Reception for more information.
- All our pools are heated, and we have multiple pools to suit different confidence and abilities.
- All of our teachers are Austswim qualified
- We offer a progressive program, with breaks of the Victorian School Holidays,
We believe swimming is a life skill and requires time, care, practice and regular commitment.
Our Swim and Survive program will teach your child, or yourself, vital life skills. Living in Australia we are surrounded by water, It's part of our lifestyle, so make sure you and your family are safe in and around the water.
We follow the progressive Swim and Survive program which is a comprehensive swimming and water safety initiative of the Royal Life Saving Society that seeks to increase the swimming and water safety skills of all Australian children in order to prevent drowning and increase participation in safe aquatic activity.
